15.08.07 Mahin Huschmand_1

Mahin Huschmand was born in Tehran, Iran, and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Archeology and Art from the University of Tehran. For 15 years, Mahin served in the Protocol of the Imperial Court of Iran, with her last position being Vice General Director of the Secretariat of the Imperial Court. She has been decorated by several heads of state, presidents, and the former King of Iran. She was also honored to receive the decoration of “Tadj Grade 4” from her homeland.

In 1979, she immigrated to Germany and eventually moved to Washington DC in 1990, where she resided until the pandemic. Since 2020, Mahin has split her time between DC and Miami. Throughout the years, she has officiated around 200 weddings, arranged more than 50 painting exhibitions for various artists, and operated her own beauty business.

Mahin was married to Engineer Parviz Huschmand for almost 60 years until Parviz’s passing in 2022. They have two children, Sogol and Iman, as well as two grandchildren, Dorsa and Parsa. It is due to her decades of happy marriage that Mahin decided to invest her time in officiating marriages, hoping that her good fortune can be transferred to the younger generation of couples in love who have decided to make an oath to marry each other until death does them part.
